Please read these terms before using the site. By accessing the website, creating an employer account, posting a vacancy or submitting an application, you agree to these terms.
1. About the platform
Turks & Caicos Jobs.com provides a platform for employers to advertise opportunities and for jobseekers to discover and apply for roles. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, immigration adviser or party to any employment relationship created through the site.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information and have authority to act for any company you represent. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.
The service is not intended for children under 16. A person who lacks legal capacity to agree to these terms should use the service only with appropriate consent and supervision.
3. Employer responsibilities
Employers must ensure each advertisement is genuine, accurate, lawful and current. An employer must:
- Have authority to recruit for the advertised position.
- Describe the role, compensation, location, requirements and closing date honestly.
- Comply with applicable employment, equality, immigration, labour-clearance, consumer and advertising requirements.
- Use applicant information only for legitimate recruitment purposes and protect it appropriately.
- Never request unlawful fees, misleading payments or unnecessary sensitive information.
Posting is currently free, but we may introduce optional paid services after giving appropriate notice.
4. Jobseeker responsibilities
Applications, CVs and supporting information must be truthful and must not infringe another person’s rights. Jobseekers should verify employers and offers independently, protect sensitive documents and never assume that a listing guarantees employment, immigration permission or relocation support.
5. Applications and communications
Applications submitted through the platform may be made available to the employer responsible for the advertisement. Employers—not Turks & Caicos Jobs.com—decide whether to contact, interview or hire an applicant. We do not guarantee delivery, a response, an interview or employment.
6. Listing deadlines and removal
Advertisements may be removed from public listings two days after their stated application deadline. Employers may be offered an opportunity to review, edit and repost a role. We may also reject, suspend or remove content that is inaccurate, expired, unlawful, harmful, duplicated or inconsistent with these terms.
7. Work permits and career guidance
Career and work-permit content is general information only and is not legal, immigration or professional advice. Requirements can change. Users must verify current requirements with the Turks and Caicos Islands Government or a qualified adviser before acting.
8. Prohibited use
You must not misuse the site, scrape or copy listings at scale, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person, discriminate unlawfully, post deceptive vacancies, harvest personal data or interfere with site operation.
9. Intellectual property
The site design, branding, software and original content belong to Turks & Caicos Jobs.com or its licensors. Employers retain rights in their logos and listing content while granting us a non-exclusive licence to display and format that material for operating and promoting the service.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that listings, employers, applicants, guidance or platform functions will always be accurate, complete, secure or uninterrupted. Users remain responsible for independent checks and decisions.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Turks & Caicos Jobs.com will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, reliance on a listing, recruitment decisions, communications between users, lost data or unauthorised third-party conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes and termination
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be identified by a revised date. We may suspend access or remove an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Subject to any mandatory rights, disputes will be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@turksandcaicosjobs.com.
Launch note: This draft should be reviewed by a qualified Turks and Caicos Islands attorney before the platform begins public operation.
